I. P. Pavlova is a busy metro station and tram station in the south-eastern part of Prague city centre. It is named after I. P. Pavlova Square (which is named after the well-known Russian scientist). I. P. Pavlova Station is served by metro line C (adjacent stations are Muzeum and Vysehrad). I. P. Pavlova is just one metro stop from Wenceslas Square and about 3-5 minutes tram ride from Karlovo Namesti. Important streets near I. P. Pavlova Station are Legerova, Sokolska, Jecna, and Jugoslavska.

There are many hotels near I. P. Pavlova Station. The area is away from the Old Town and from the tourist crowds, but it has an excellent public transport access, so you can get to the Old Town Square or Charles Bridge in a few minutes whenever you want. Most hotels are situated in Vinohrady in the streets east of I. P. Pavlova (towards Namesti Miru).

  • Florenc Station – Prague Central Bus Station, 3 stops from I. P. Pavlova, another place with many hotels and outstanding public transport connections; interchange of metro lines B and C
