Kacerov Metro Station in Prague

Kacerov Station is the past terminal station of Prague metro line C (today’s terminal station is Haje). Kacerov is a residential and also a bit industrial district south of Prague city centre. For many people living in southern Prague districts and suburbs, Kacerov Station is where they switch from the bus to metro on their daily commute. Kacerov Station is situated close to the intersection of two busy highways: Magistrala (north-south highway running through Prague city centre) and Jizni Spojka (South Link, bypassing Inner Prague in the south).

Hotels close to Kacerov Station

The area near Kacerov Station is not particularly attractive to tourists and there is very little tourist infrastructure and very few hotels. You can find some hotels in the districts of Branik, Krc, Kacerov, Sporilov, or Hostivar, most of them within 1-3 km from Kacerov Station with frequent bus services. There are also several hotels close to Pankrac Station, 2 stops by metro from Kacerov towards the city centre.

Other hotel locations with easy access from Kacerov Station

There are much wider accommodation options when you move along the metro line C further towards the city centre. Try Vysehrad Station (4 metro stops from Kacerov), I. P. Pavlova (5 stops), or Muzeum Station (6 stops), which is already in the very centre of Prague at the top end of Wenceslas Square. The metro ride from Kacerov to Muzeum Station takes about 10-12 minutes. Train intervals vary from 2 minutes at peak times to 10 minutes late in the evening.

Kacerov and Prague hotel reservation

If you want to book a hotel in Prague’s southern districts away from the centre (like Kacerov), keep in mind that the accommodation capacities are very limited and book well in advance. In Prague city centre, you usually won’t have problems finding a hotel at last moment, except peak tourist periods and holidays, when room availability and pricing quickly deteriorates as the date approaches. Most hotels in Prague allow free cancellations and changes up to few days before arrival (always check the policy of the particular hotel).
