Petriny Station in Prague

There is no metro service at Petriny Station at present. The metro line A is being extended from Dejvicka to Petriny and Motol. The new section will open in 2013 or 2014.

Petriny is a part of Prague situated to the west of the city centre, near the districts of Brevnov, Veleslavin, and Liboc. Petriny Metro Station is located in Brunclikova Street, slightly south of its crossing with Na Petrinach Street. Other major streets near Petriny Station are Ankarska Street, Na Vypichu, and Belohorska Street. Nearby landmarks and important places include Brevnov Monastery, Liboc Pond, Hvezda Park, and the Central Military Hospital (Ustredni Vojenska Nemocnice). The area near Petriny Station is quiet and peaceful, but it is located quite far from the inner city.
