Wenceslas Square in Prague
Wenceslas Square is the main square in Prague city centre and it is also one of the largest squares in Prague by surface area. There is not much car traffic at Wenceslas Square (except the highway at the upper end in front of National Museum). The taxi stand on the picture is situated near the upper end of Wenceslas Square (about 1 minute walk from St. Wenceslas “horse” statue).
Hotels at Prague Wenceslas Square
Wenceslas Square is a popular hotel location. There are many hotels at Wenceslas Square or in the numerous side streets. Main advantages of staying at Wenceslas Square include the location (the bottom end of Wenceslas Square borders to Prague Old Town directly), public transport (there are two of Prague’s busiest metro stations at Wenceslas Square, Mustek and Muzeum), shops, and nightlife. For some people, Wenceslas Square might feel too busy and crowded though.
